Indie becoming the new rock?

Who thinks indie is starting to turn into the main genre for music that isnt hip hop? Imean so many bands now were skinny jeans and eyeliner! Panic!at the disco F.O.B Enter shikari

it is becoming a mainstream genre, but it wont overtake rock, as rock has beeen around since ages. it has evolved a little, but indie is more likely to become the new pop



(and enter shikari are a mix of dance and rock, not pop and rock)

I guess but pop rly has turned into r and b with the help of 50 cent and rihana so indie is just taking pops place

well... fair point. the whole music industry is moving around i guess. metal and emo (and maybe grunge) are the only genres that arent going anywhere

Course they are, nu metal is proof of that

ok, mayb metal is changing a bit, but music now classed as oldies dont go anywere, so weve just gotta wate for the music we like to stop moving
